CU Survey Privacy Policy

At CU Survey, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you ONLY to process orders, provide customer service, notify you of product updates and scheduled maintenance, and to provide a more personalized online experience.

What information do we collect, and how do we use it?
When you open your account we need to know your name and contact information. This allows us to process and fulfill your order, and to keep you informed about your account and the software that you are using.

We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage, in aggregate, to help us develop the design and layout of the site.

Will we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?
No. CU Survey does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any other entity.

CU Survey may release account information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to comply with law, to enforce or apply the terms of any of our customer agreements, or to protect the rights, property or safety of CU Survey, our customers and clients, our end-users, or others.

This applies to your personal information as well as your data hosted by us. CU Survey will not use, sell, rent, trade or otherwise disseminate or disclose your data to either itself or any third party, except as required by law, or by your authorized written request or consent.

How do we protect customer information?
When you place orders or access your account information, we offer the use of a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is transmitted to our database. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.

What about "cookies"?
Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information, and they are used only in conjunction with CU Survey applications. We do not read any information other than what we write in the course of your using the software application.

Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that. Even without a cookie, you can still use many of the features on our sites, including taking surveys, but you will need to accept cookies in order to run the CU Survey software.

How do we allow customers to update or change the information we collect?
You may update or change information related to your CU Survey account(s) by accessing your My Account page with your customer login ID and password. For other questions related to updating or changing your account information, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. By using our web site, applications and databases, you consent to the collection and use of this information by CU Survey as described here. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.
